News: Honeycomb is the next Android version

22 August 2010 5 Comments

Words out all over the net that the next iteration of the Android OS will be called Honeycomb.

The build after Gingerbread will be codenamed “Honeycomb”. It is unknown what Honeycomb’s Android version will be, be it 3.1 or 3.2. Nothing is really known about Honeycomb, other than the supposed name of the new Android build.

As with all these news that are ahead of their time, no details are forthcoming as to what Android Honeycomb will entail and frankly speaking at this moment in time.
